Kenneth W. Wren

Kenneth Wren, 83, of West Chester, OH passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Ken was born in Madison County, KY to Hubert and Cleo Wren.

Ken was the beloved husband of Louella M. (nee Roberts) for over 62 years, devoted father of Keith (Valerie) Wren, Kyle (Janet) Wren and Tricia (Andy) Luckhaupt, loving grandfather of Tabitha Wren, Joey Reusch, Jeff Reusch, Alex Wren, Erin Wren, Drew, Olivia, Ryan and Connor Luckhaupt and great-grandfather of several, dear brother of Helen and the late Gil Stengel.

Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Family was first for Ken. In 1973, Ken and Louella started the K&W Creamy Whip ice cream shop in Lockland, and in 1995, they, along with son Keith, opened The Cone in West Chester. What was supposed to be a retirement hobby for them really took off, and many members of the family have contributed to The Cone's success. Ken's other passions were barbering, and pinball. Ken was an avid pinball machine collector and player, and took First place in the Pinball Expo Senior's Division Tournament in 2006. He claimed he had a photographic memory and proved it many times. He will be missed.

Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of Service at 12 noon. Luncheon will immediately follow the service and all are invited. Family interment at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens on Tuesday.
