Leo Koch

Leo John Koch, 80 of Loveland, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2022. Born to John A. and Lillian C. (Bromm) Koch on July 16, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Leo worked for 30 years for Armco Steel before he retired as the Vice President of Finance. Leo had a passion for anything related to soccer. He enjoyed playing and watching the game, as well as coaching and being a referee.

Leo was called to serve within his church. He served in multiple roles at his church, both at daily mass and on Sundays.  He was a lector, choir member, and Eucharistic Minister.  For years, he distributed communion at church as well as at the hospital.

His hobbies included ballroom dancing with his favorite dance partner, Jo-Ann, his wife of 60 years.  He also very much enjoyed watching his grandchildren play various sports, following the stock market and all the Cincinnati sports teams

He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed dearly.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian Koch, and his beloved daughter, Karen Koch.

Leo is survived by his wife, Jo-Ann M. (Dragan) Koch, two children, Lee Koch, and Lisa (William) Mack, four grandchildren, Jack Koch, Lauren Koch, Joey Mack, Katie Mack, two brothers, Paul (Peggy) Koch and Gary Koch and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23 ^rd from 9:30am-11:00am at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. A Memorial Mass will be held the same day at 12:00 NOON at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249. Inurnment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Funeral mass will be live streamed on the Good Shepherd website for those that are not able to attend.
