Leonard Clouse , of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 102. He was born Thursday, July 14, 1921 in Crane Nest, Kentucky to John and Martha (nee Smith) Clouse.
A World War II Veteran of the United States Airforce, Leonard proudly flew the banner of love and freedom he fought for. Leonard had a love of music and could play just about anything with strings. His family still has the guitar he played while serving in the military. To say Leonard had a green thumb would be an understatement. He loved his vegetable garden but the brilliant colors and fragrant smells of the flowers always captured his heart. Leonard never showed his age, and was working on his many projects at home until just recently. He certainly had many interests but his true love was always his family. Leonard will be forever loved and cherished by those that knew him.
Leonard was preceded in death by: parents, John and Martha Clouse; wife, Mary L. Clouse (nee Martin); and 6 siblings.
Leonard is survived by: daughters, Regenia (Ralph) Williams and Gayla (Marc) Williams; grandchildren, Misty (Steve) Thompson, Mindy Nicely, Brandon Williams, and Brittany Williams; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Williams, Claire Thompson, Kaia Williams, and Paisley Williams; siblings, Sam and Lois; and many loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2023 from 12:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will follow in West Chester Cemetery.
