Len enjoyed doing many things. He loved to play softball in his younger years and graduated to chasing golf balls when he could no longer play softball. He spent many years involved with the Mason Athletic Boosters Club, he had the distinguished honor of being a running back on the very first Football team that Mason fielded. Len was a member of the Mason American Legion Hall and loved to go in and sit at the bar and have a beer with who ever happened to be there. He enjoyed many years bowling in leagues with friends at the Mason Bowl. He also had a lifelong love of NASCAR. Len was a self taught guitarist and loved playing and singing his favorite songs. But the thing he loved most of all was spending time with his wife Bev, his children and large extended family. His motto in life was God, Family and Country. In that order!
