Lori Jean Berning

Lori Jean Berning (nee Duenhoft), 58 of Liberty Township, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Born to Joseph and Pauline (nee Music) Duenhoft on January 9, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Lori was a devoted friend to many. She took pride in being someone’s friend. She was kindhearted, enjoyed getting to know people and was an easy person to get along with and befriend.

Lori was an avid reader. A book in hand and the view of the beach could make her read for hours. She would get lost in a book. Reading was part of her happy place along with traveling to Fort Myers, Florida. Although she didn’t care much for getting in the water she sure loved to sit and read on the beach.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pauline Duenhoft, her mother and father -in- law, Fritz and Betty Berning and siblings, Larry Duenhoft, Kathy Fledderjohn and Debbie Duenhoft.

Lori is survived by her loving husband, David W. Berning, two siblings, Elizabeth Esterkamp and Mike (Lori) Duenhoft, brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim (Shirley) Berning, Mark (Timri) Berning, Steve (Alison) Berning, Carol (Ed) Moorhead and Doug (Pam) Berning and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022, 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liberty Center AC Hotel, 7505 Gibson Street, Liberty Township, Ohio 45069.
