Lorrain R. Welling

Lorrain R. 'Lorri' Welling, 90, longtime resident of West Chester, OH passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Lorri was born in Cincinnati, OH to Howard and Frances Cruse in 1933.

Lorrain was the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Welling, Sr., for over 63 years. She was a devoted mother of Stanley (late Ramona) Welling, Tommy (Nancy) Welling, Jr., Jerry (Nola) Welling, Mary (Brad) Carter and Joe (Robyn) Welling, loving grandmother of Joshua D. Welling, Shaun (Heather) Welling, Kenny (Kelly) Welling, Tommy (Jennifer) Welling, III, David Welling, Anna Welling, Joshua R. Welling, Matt Welling, Lauren Carter, Rachel Carter, Stephanie Welling, Jennifer Welling and Alyssa Welling, great-grandmother of Luke, Grace, James, Elena, Joel, Charlotte, Carson, Dylan, Lillyan, Elizabeth and Anthony Welling, dear sister of Patty (Bill) Cruse and the late Walter and Alan Cruse, sister-in-law of Jean and Lois Cruse, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lorri was a caring and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spoiling her children and grand-children. Lorri and Tom would always have a mountain of Christmas presents for the family to enjoy. She enjoyed being the planner and organizer of the family parties. Lorri liked playing cards, dominos, traveling around the country and being the Queen of the Red Hat Society. Lorri and Tom worked years together in the Jewelry business.

Visitation at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069 on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment at West Chester Cemetery.
