Lou Ann Thesing

Lou Ann Thesing (nee Nelson), of Mason, Ohio passed away suddenly Friday, April 17, 2020 at the young age of 62.  She was born Thursday, April 3, 1958 in Sigourney, Iowa to Harry E. and Jerdena L. (nee Wilhite) Nelson.

Lou Ann was a loving and compassionate wife, mom, sister and friend.  Her life was one that radiated the glorious light of her Savior, Jesus. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her encountered a living display of the love of God at work in the heart of a woman. She had an infectious joy that declared that Jesus had come and made others long to know Him as well. Lou Ann loved to doodle and draw from from a very young age and used her artistic talents to pursue a career in graphic design. She had a soft, gentle, heart that showed in her love of friends and family, her affection for animals, and her enjoyment of music. She is loved and will be greatly missed.

Lou Ann was preceded in death by parents, Harry E. and Jerdena "Jeri" Nelson; and brother, Eric Nelson who passed away just the day before her in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lou Ann is survived by: her husband of 34 years, Michael Thesing; son, Aaron (Carly) Thesing; sister, Laura (Steve) Brown; sister-in-law, Karla Nelson; a grandchild Lou Ann would have welcomed this summer; nephews and nieces, Jack (Allison) Brown, Andrew Brown, Allison Brown and Joel (Aislin) Brown, Jayson (Grace) Altman, John (Alex) Nelson and great-nieces and nephews, Ainsley, Penelope, Julian and Crew Brown and Ronin, Renzo and Rio Altman.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a service to celebrate Lou Ann's life will be held at a later date.
