Marcus P. Richardson

Marcus Paul Richardson, 77 of West Chester, passed away on January 5, 2023. Born to Marcus H and Alma (nee Krabacher) Richardson on January 4, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Marcus enjoyed being one with nature. Whether he was sitting and watching the birds through his window or helping his grandchildren plant sunflower seeds. He loved being in his garden and the sunshine on his face.

Marcus worked for KOI auto parts for over 50 years. He was a dedicated and hard-working man. His work ethic and ability to communicate with others was what made him so special. He loved to teach people new things and he enjoyed getting to know new people.

Fishing was one of his favorite hobbies. He took an annual guy’s trip to Key West, Florida and was looking forward to visiting his family in the coming year.

Preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Alma Richardson, his beloved wife, Mary Linda Richardson, two siblings, Mary Utterback and Harold Richardson, nephew, Randy Bullock and great nephew, Zachary Rolfes.

Marcus is survived by his two children, Marc (Nancy Krumm Richardson) Richardson and Renee (Kenneth) Macke, five grandchildren, Kailey Macke, Alex Richardson, Anne (Kevin) Gutierrez, Andrew Macke and Isabella Richardson, siblings, Charles (Mercedes) Richardson, Frances (Ray) Alderson, Alma (Donald) Bullock, Margaret (Dana) Jacobs and Edward Richardson, brother-in-law, Earl Utterback and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12 ^th 10:30-11:00am with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am all at St Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to American Diabetes Association.
