Margaret A. Tackett

Margaret A. "Marge" Tackett (nee Swaney), of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born August 28, 1932 in Cedarville, Ohio to Frank and Ethel (nee Nichols) Swaney.

Marge was a natural born caretaker. She loved caring for her children and took pride in becoming a grandparent. A founding member of Faith Community United Methodist Church, Marge enjoyed teaching Sunday School. She also spent many years volunteering for local life squads, traveling and visiting federal parks, and was an avid reader.

Marge was preceded in death by: parents, Frank and Ethel Swaney; husband, C. Melvin Tackett; and daughter, Branda Kay Hail.

Marge is survived by: children, Ronald Melvin Tackett, Melanie Ann Tackett, and Christopher Michael (Geena) Tackett; son-in-law, Mike Hail; grandchildren, Ian Hail, Alison (Justin) Clemons, Erica Tackett, Kayla (Ben) Clark, and Morgan Tackett; great-grandchild, Shelby Clemons; and many loving family members.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 12:00 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Inurnment will immediately follow in West Chester Cemetery.
