Margaret Anne Kinnett, 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 26. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. Kinnett II and brother, Virgil McCormick. She is survived by her son, Albert D. Kinnett III, sister Patricia Anderson, and brother, Dexter McCormick.
Margaret was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Clement McCormick and Marie Kinsl on December 26, 1945. She studied theatre at Indiana University and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City in 1968. She acted in off-broadway and touring plays where she met and married her husband, Albert Kinnett II. They had their son Albert Daniel in 1982, and moved to Cincinnati in 1987. Margaret directed many Shakespearean plays, most notably for Shakespeare in Sharonville. She taught both drama and literature at St. Gertrude Academy, then literature at St. Gertrude School until 2018, retiring to her house in Lockland where she lived with her son.
Visitation will be on Monday January 2, 2023 at Mueller Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:25 a.m. at St. Gertrude the Great Church in West Chester, OH with visitation prior to Mass at 10:30 AM. Travel to cemetery will happen immediately after Mass, followed by a luncheon back at St. Gertrude Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to help with funeral and living expenses for her son. A fund has been established for this purpose and checks can be made out to the administrator: Cynthia J Morris Acct # 7985483754 and mailed c/o St. Gertrude Church 4900 Rialto Rd. West Chester, OH 45069.
