Margery B. Greek

Margery B. Greek, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 83. She was born Tuesday, August 31, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia to Clarence Guy and Evelyn (nee Rose) Bensinger.

A graduate of Ottawa Hills High School in Toledo, Ohio, Margery earned her BA in Elementary Education from Ohio Wesleyan University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Marge taught in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky while continuing her education, earning her Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati where she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi. After retirement, Marge moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana where she was a master gardener, substitute teacher and a classroom volunteer. Marge loved the Lord, her family and friends, teaching, volunteering, and serving others.

Margery was preceded in death by: parents, Clarence and Evelyn Bensinger; brothers, Richard Suart Bensinger and Thomas Frank Bensinger.

Margery is survived by: daughters, Melanie E. (Chad) Bute and Sarah E. Heckel; grandchildren, Dakota Allen Cook, Joshua Shane (Chelsea) Cook, Nathaniel William Heckel, Caleb Edward (Katie) Mauger, and Jacob Dylan Mauger; sister, Jeanne Bensinger Robinson; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2020 from 12:00 noon until the Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The State of Ohio requires face masks/coverings to be worn and social distancing followed. Seating for the service will be limited due to the guidelines.
