Margie L. Lee (Nee Hoeper)

Marjorie Louise Lee , age 66, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in West Chester on Tuesday, June 25.  Margie is survived by her devoted and loving husband Kevin, with whom she shared 47 wonderful years.  She is also survived by daughter Erin Magee, son-in-law Chris and the joy of her life, granddaughter Peyton.  Margie was born on April 29, 1958 to Frank and Rosemary (Reiger) Hoeper and grew up in Kettering, Ohio with sister Joanne (Steve Tomich) and brothers Frank (Cindy), Steve (Kathie) and Bill (Beth Petrucce).  After marrying Kevin, she was welcomed into the Lee family by Kevin’s parents Walter and Sue and brothers-in-law Jeff (Denyse), Dan, Chris (Michael Kuhn) and sister-in-law Amy (Tim Pope).

Margie enjoyed watching granddaughter Peyton perform with the Kettering Fairmont Marching Firebirds and was a big Bengals fan.  Margie loved lighthouses and, like them, she was a beautiful, steadfast and protecting light to her family and her friends.  We will miss her luminous guidance.

A memorial gathering will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in West Chester on Wednesday July 3 from 10:30am-11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am.  Arrangements are in the care of Mueller Funeral Home.  Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.muellerfunerals.com.
