Mass for Marguerite Gehringer may be watched through St. John the Evangelist Livestream.
Marguerite B. (nee Blomer) Gehringer, of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born Monday, May 2, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joseph A. and Anna M. (nee Puep) Blomer. She grew up in Bond Hill and graduated from Regina High School.
She excelled at being a wife and truly embraced her role as a mom. She worked part time as a medical assistant. She was an avid bowler and served as the league secretary for many years. In recent years Marge was known as the matriarch of Bingo every week. A true Red's Fan, she tried to watch every game even enjoying out of town trips to watch her team play.
Marge will forever be cherished by those that knew and loved her.
Marge was preceded in death by: husband, Elmer H. "Gery" Gehringer; parents, Joseph and Anna Blomer; brothers, Joseph Blomer, Billy Blomer, Bobby Blomer, Roy Blomer, and Larry Blomer; and sisters, Ethel Parker, Anna Mae Marsh, and Dolores Wuest.
Marge is survived by: daughters, Donna (Alan) Vore, Cindy Gehringer, and Sandy Hale; grandchildren, Seth (Jennifer) Vore, Sean (Wallis) Vore, and Samuel (Kathy) Vore; great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Mason, Paul, Elizabeth, Ella, and Alexander; sister, JoAnn Lamping; and many loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am at the Church. Interment will immediately follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.
