Maria Juana Guardiola Alonso, recently of Mason, Ohio, passed away March 31, 2022 at the age of 72. She was born August 21, 1949 in Mexico to Nicolas Guardiola and Antonia Alonso.

The matriarch of the family, Juanita loved spending her days along side beloved family members and neighbors. With a small store in her hometown of Mexico, Juanita had the opportunity to care for others as well. In most cases, she was down to earth and a calming presence until it came to her family playing baseball, at which point she could be heard across the world. Juanita did nothing but spread love and kindness in this world and will remembered for just that.

Beloved wife of the late Leoncio Gamez; loving mother of Justino Gamez Guardiola, Antonio Gamez Guardiola, Enrique Gamez Guardiola, Graciela Gamez Guardiola, Alberto Gamez Guardiola, Jose-Elias Gamez Guardiola and the late Eulalia Gamez Guardiola; devoted sister, grandmother, aunt, family member and friend to many.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 3:00 PM until the Prayer Service at 5:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

María Juana Guardiola Alonso, últimamente en Mason, falleció el 31 de Marzo del año 2022 a la edad 72. Nació el 21 de Agosto del año 1949 en Mexico. Hija de Nicolás Guardiola y Antonia Alonso.

Querida de la familia, Juanita amaba pasar su tiempo al lado de su familia y vecinos cercanos. Con una tienda pequeña en su ranchito de Leoncito. Juanita también tenía la oportunidad de cuidar a mucho de sus seres queridos y enseñarles el cariño que ella tenia por todos. Mucha gente la conocía como alguien amorosa y calmada, pero el béisbol era algo que ella amaba disfrutar y compartir con sus hijos. Juanita al fin del día era alguien que nomás quería compartir su ayuda y amor a todos. Y por eso y muchas cosas más ella siempre sería recordada como nuestra Juanita amada.

Querida esposa a Leoncio Gamez. Y gran madre a sus hijos, Justino Gamez Guardiola, Antonio Gamez Guardiola, Enrique Gamez Guardiola, Graciela Gamez Guardiola, Alberto Gamez Guardiola, Jose-Elias Gamez Guardiola y Eulalia Gamez Guardiola. Amada y respetada por su madre y padre, hermanos, sobrinos, nietos, y vecinos.
