Marilyn Meyer

Marilyn Jane (nee Blum) Meyer , 92, of Mason, passed away on March 21, 2023. Born to John C. and Verna (nee Sullivan) Blum on October 19, 1930, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Marilyn worked at McAlpin’s – Kenwood for over 20 years. She never knew a stranger and engaged in conversation with new people everywhere she went. She was extremely personable and looked forward to her weekly visits to the hair salon. Marilyn loved to host Sunday gatherings and holidays making others feel welcomed and loved.

Marilyn and Herb were high school sweethearts, married 65 years. She was a dedicated care giver, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceded by her parents, her husband, Herbert Meyer and her four siblings, Doris Woolley, John Blum, Carlton Blum, and Roger Blum.

She is survived by her sons, Jim (Mary Helen) Meyer and Steve (Barb) Meyer; grandchildren, Marisa (Andrew) Clifton and Jared (Katie) Meyer; great-grandchildren, Asher, Eli and Isabelle Clifton and Thatcher, Beau, Blake, and Lachlan Meyer; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Blum; niece, Diane (Chuck) Vincent and nephew, Chris (Ann Berberian) Woolley.

Visitation, Tuesday, March 28 ^th from 10:00-11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. Interment in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
