Marlene Annette Kirkpatrick (nee Bailey) of West Chester, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the age of 55.  She was born Thursday, November 2, 1967 in Marion, Ohio.

Honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, Marlene continued her education to obtain her MSN degree.  A registered nurse, she found her career at Cincinnati VA Hospital to be rewarding creating lifelong friendships along the way.

Marlene loved to travel; if she wasn't on a cruiseship, you could bet she was traveling somewhere Disney.  Most importantly, she loved her family and community of friends.  Marlene will be forever loved and cherished.

Marlene was preceded in death by: mother, Rosemary (nee Camm) Utley; and father, William Bailey.

Marlene is survived by: husband, Scott Kirkpatrick; daughter, Stephanie (Daniel Mahoney) Keane; sons, Robert D. Keane and Richard A. Keane; granddaughter, Angela Keane; step-father, Thomas W. Utley; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 6329 Tylersville Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 pm at the church with military honors to follow. The Graveside Service will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at 12:00 noon in Marion Cemetery, Marion, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, Joe Nuxhall Miracle League, or Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
