Martha Jean Smith

Martha Jean Smith (nee Wolf), of Sharonville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio at the age of 90. She was born Monday, August 20, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joseph and Ida (nee Case) Wolf.

Jean was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. After many years, Jean retired from Princeton High School as a guidance secretary.  As an avid reader, she enjoyed just about anything, but truly appreciated a good suspense. Jean will forever be cherished by those that knew and loved her.

Jean was preceded in death by: her parents, Joseph and Ida Wolf; husband, Jack Smith; daughter, Beverly Sue Smith; granddaughter, Laura Lamkin; and brothers, Warren Wolf and Carl Wolf.

Jean is survived by: daughter, Barbara Oppenheimer; grandson, Mark Oppenheimer; sister, Judith Ruddy; and many loving family members.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will immediately follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
