Martin Thomas Mcgrath

Martin Thomas McGrath, "Marty", of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the age of 74.  He was born Saturday, August 20, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Martin and Florence (nee Huesman) McGrath.

Marty received both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Cincinnati.  He enjoyed watching football games and cheering for his UC Bearcats.  A talented woodworker, Marty liked to take on large projects.  With a vision for landscaping and love of gardening, his yard was the envy of many.

Marty was preceded in death by: parents, Martin and Florence McGrath.

Marty is survived by wife, Sandra "Sandy" L. (nee Bartlett) McGrath; son, Martin McGrath; daughter, Maureen (Jeremiah) Terry; grandchildren, Isabella McGrath, Gavin McGrath, and Emma Hatfield; sisters, Mary Beth Bartels and Catherine (Jeff) Ornstein; and many loving family members and friends including a special cousin, Mary Ann (Tom) Edwards, he grew up with.

Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Freestore Foodbank, Hospice of Cincinnati, St. Susanna Church and American Cancer Society.
