Martin Strong

Martin Daniel Strong , 50 of West Chester, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 14, 2022.  Born to Raymond Eliot and Shirley Maria (nee Maxfield) Strong on April 10, 1972, in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Martin was a proud and dedicated Police Officer for Forest Park Police Department for 18 years. Riding as a motor officer for a while gave him the chance to do two things that he loved. Ride his motorcycle and serve the community. He was kind, outgoing and loved by many.

Martin had a love for the great outdoors. Spending family vacations camping, off-roading with his boys, being among nature and in woods was his special place.

He was a family man who always put his sons and his wife first. Watching sports with the boys or traveling with Jenny were just some of the things he enjoyed. Martin was the life of the party and playfully earned the name “Party Marty” as he could light up a room with his jokes and energy. He was witty with nicknames and quotes in his everyday actions that he will be remembered by.

Preceded in death by his father, Raymond Strong, and his maternal grandmother, Norma Maxfield.

Martin is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (nee Laine) Strong, two sons, Michael Raymond Strong and Brandon Martin Strong, mother, Shirley Strong, parents in law, Michael and Peggy Laine, brother, Brian Strong, brothers and sisters in law, Stephen (Chandra) Laine, Theresa (Doug) Quallen, Sharon (Nathan) Stierwalt and Jerad (Alicia) Laine and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26 ^th from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 27 ^th at 11:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 330 Lebanon St, Monroe, OH 45050.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martin’s name to The Matt Haverkamp Foundation.
