Mary Ann Ross

September 18, 1944 — January 18, 2021

Mary Ann Ross (nee Pratt) , 76 of Mason, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. Born to Joseph and Eva (nee Boucher) Pratt on September 18, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mary Ann was a huge support system for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time at their athletic events and school events showing her support. She never missed a football game at Bowling Green when Mark played; she was easily their number one fan.

Mary Ann had a love of travel. She and Bill and two groups of friends traveled all over the United States together. They spent many evenings and weekends with friends having themed parties and enjoying life to the fullest. Bill, MaryAnn and their family enjoyed many beautiful times on the Ohio River and the Intercoastal Waterway on their boat, The Family Feud.

She was great at many things, but decorating a space beautifully was a gift of hers. Her home was always a welcome place to come and feel her love, get a big hug and enjoy her delicious cooking. She had happy memories as a young woman working as a Buyer in retail in downtown Cincinnati.

Mary Ann was a devoted wife for over 56 years. Bill was her childhood sweetheart, they had started dating several years before getting married, but their love was strong. Mary Ann valued her relationship with Bill and her family more then anything.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eva Pratt, daughter, Jodi Ross, brother, Mick Pratt and brother-in-law, Dick Vollman.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband, William E. ‘Bill’ Ross, two sons, Bryan (Cindy) Ross and Mark (Jeanne) Ross, seven grandchildren, Kyle (Kelly) Ross, Eric Ross, Emily Ross, Grant Francis, Grace Yoder, Aidan Ross and Liliane Ross, three siblings, Carolyn Vollman, Kathy (Don) Birkenheuer and Joe (Linda) Pratt and many nieces, nephews and friends.
