Mary Jo Miller

Mary Jo Miller (nee Berning), 90, of West Chester, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Mary Jo was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Harry and Mary Berning.

Mary Jo loved being with her family. She liked taking the kids to their events, she liked playing cards and she like to read mystery novels. She was always busy doing something and enjoyed sitting and solving crossword puzzles.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents; Harry and Mary (nee O'Leary), son; Derek Miller, siblings; Harriett Jackson, John Berning, Harry Berning and Ginny Stephenson.

Mary Jo was the beloved wife of David Miller for 66 years, devoted mother of Lisa (Todd) Carter, Renee' (Doug) McGowan and Shane (Robin) Miller, loving grandmother of Annalee (Andrew) Duthie, Kayla (Phil) Terry, Jared McGowan and Jessica Miller and great-grandmother of Dylan Terry, dear sister of Patricia Berning and Sue Hellman, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069 on Thursday, July 29 from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
