Michael D. Baudendistel, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully January 10, 2022 at the age of 66. He was born October 4, 1955 in Middletown, Ohio to William and Margaret (nee Feldhaus) Baudendistel.
Growing up on a farm taught Mike hard work and determination pay off. When he finally retired from farming, Mike truly enjoyed his time delivering parts for Smyth Automotive. Mike never met a stranger, talking to anyone or anything that he could. He was the type of guy that would do just about anything for anyone. He will be forever missed by those that knew and loved him.
Mike is survived by: his best-friend and love of his life, Ruth Brock; children, Theo (Jennie) Baudendistel, Yvon (Tiffany) Desfosses, William Desfosses, Jon Kennedy, and Kevin (Catherine) Kennedy; grandchildren, Caitlin Baudendistel, Lucien Baudendistel, Chloe Desfosses, Lucas Desfosses, Jon (Brenda) Kennedy, Jennifer Wright, Ben Kennedy, Nicholas Kennedy, and Kara Kennedy; 6 great-grandchildren, siblings, Joanne Nolen, Jean Behymer, William Baudendistel, Helen Redmon, Tom Baudendistel, and Ann Welsh; and many loving family members and friends.
Per Mike's request, the family will celebrate his life privately.
