Michael Richlen

Michael Paul Richlen passed away on February 23, 2024, at age 65. Michael was born in Norway, Michigan to Lee and Virginia Richlen. He married Hawa Kororm on September 13th, 1987. Michael worked for Ford Motor Company for 28 years and held prior jobs in plumbing, landscaping, and carpentry. He was a very skilled handy man and could fix almost anything. He was a peace corps volunteer in Sierra Leone and Ghana during his life. Michael was a lover of all nature, animals, and the earth. He loved to travel, camp, and spend time outdoors. He was a devoted family man and great provider. He cared very deeply for his entire family. He especially loved and spoiled his children and grandchildren. Michael was so very kind, loving, funny, outgoing, and full of life. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Hawa and daughter Virginia Richlen. His Grandchildren; Abigail Richlen and Shawn Lattimore. His Siblings; Susan Krueger, Kathleen (Carmen) Richlen-Tilden, Mary Jo Richlen, and Thomas (Bobbi) Richlen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his daughter Mariama Richlen. Services for Michael will be held privately by the family.
