Michael Howard Siney

Michael Howard Siney Sr., age 73 passed away in his home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Michael was born to Howard P. Siney and Lola M. (Brooks) in Dayton, Ohio on July 24, 1950. Preceded in death by his siblings Beverly, Timothy (Diane), Patrick, and Victoria. He is survived by his brother Terrance (Donna) Siney. Michael is survived by his daughter Patricia Siney of Gulf Shores, AL, and his son Michael H. (Christine) Siney Jr. of Miami Township, Ohio. Michael leaves behind his grandchildren, Brianna, Michael, Savannah, Tyler, Olivia, and Ruby. Michael was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael served in the United States Army and is a Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War, earning his National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star Medal, and many others. Michael enjoyed collecting coins and antique furniture as well as riding his motorcycle and attending “Daytona Bike Week”. Michael believed in living life to the fullest even up to his last days. A graveside service for Michael will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428) In place of flowers please donate to the “Headstrong Project”, helping veterans suffering from PTSD.
