Michael A Sodano

Michael A. Sodano passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 80.

He was born in Englewood, NJ, on August 12, 1944, and lived in Maineville, OH, since 2002.

Michael was a retired high school teacher, having taught 34 years at Union High School in Union, NJ. He received his bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s College in 1966 and his master’s degree from Jersey City State College in 1975. He was an adjunct instructor at Bergen Community College, Paramus, NJ, from 2000 to 2005 and at Sinclair Community College, Mason, OH, from 2008 to 2012.

He was a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1967 to 1970.

Michael was the beloved husband of Joan (Rosatelli), loving father of Justin (Lindsey) and Todd (Autumn), loving grandfather to J.R., Mimi, and Matteo, son of the late Salvatore and Nancy Sodano, and brother of Samuel.

Michael was a great fan of Jesus Christ, Mickey Mantle, Frank Sinatra, and Jack Daniels. He was a resident of Heritage at Miami Bluffs in Maineville, OH, where he enjoyed being with his grandchildren, playing poker and pinochle, visiting local casinos, traveling and riding in his golf cart through the community.

There will be a private service and a celebration of life for family and invited friends.
