Mildred J. Allen

Mildred Jean Allen (nee Cassidy), of Trenton, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the age of 90.  She was born Thursday, November 17, 1932 in Middletown, Ohio to Oliver P. Cassidy and Eva (nee Ingram) Cassidy.

Born to be a matriarch, Mildred consistently put her family and their needs before anything else.  She took pride in keeping her house a home to all that entered, providing a home cooked meal.  With a green thumb, Mildred had the ability to grow just about anything.  Her flower beds were always well tended providing beautiful colors and fantastic fragrances, while her vegetable garden provided plenty for canning allowing the family to enjoy the taste of summer year-round.  Mildred will be forever loved and cherished by all that knew her.

Mildred was preceded in death by: parents, Oliver and Eva Cassidy; husband, William L. Allen; son, William "Willie" Allen, Jr.; and siblings, Stanley Cassidy, Dorothy Combs, Herb Cassidy, Billy Cassidy, and Bob Cassidy.

Mildred is survived by: children, Debbie (Gary) Elam, Connie Estridge, Darrell (Sue) Allen, Karen (Tim) Wilson, Marsha (David) Zornes, Rickey (Connie) Allen, Chris Allen, Kirt Allen, and Paula (Steve) Johnston; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of loving family members and friends.

Per Mildred's request, services will be held privately for the family with Pastor David Zornes officiating.
