Mildred Smith

Mildred Smith (nee Hager), 93, longtime resident of Mason, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2019. Mildred was born in Lacy Creek, KY to Bernard and Talitha Hager in 1926. After moving to Ohio she met Walter where they married and raised their family in Mason.

Mildred was the beloved wife of the late Walter Smith, devoted mother of Gloria (Cliff) Migal and David (Sherry) Smith, loving grandmother of Justin (Abby) Smith, Taylor (Hannah) Smith, Michelle (Robert) Wilkerson and Toni (Patrick) Williams and great-grandmother of Tyler Wilkerson, Micale Kasee, Harrison Williams, Addison Kasee, Nash Williams, Andrew Wilkerson, Graham Williams, Griffin Smith, Grant Smith, Lucy Smith and Nora Smith, dear sister of Troy Hager and the late Ruth Peyton and Roy Hager.

Mildred's life was centered around her faith. She was a founding member of the First Baptist Church of Mason and raised her family with her love of Jesus Christ. Mildred was a longtime caregiver for her husband Walter and she continued to be active in First Baptist Church of Mason until she moved to Otterbein. She was also a long time member of the Order of Eastern Star in Mason. Mildred enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening and being outdoors. She loved going out to eat with her friends. Mildred also enjoyed traveling with various senior citizen groups and her church group.

Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 9:30 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
