Moeung Ham

Moeung passed away unexpectedly on April 10th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was 84 years young, living with his family in West Chester, Ohio.

Moeung Ham was born on July 7th, 1938, to Porng Phann and Raem Phann in Cambodia.

Early in life, Moeung met Than Lim, his life partner. They have been together for over 50 years. They lived in West Chester with their daughter Samantha, her husband, and four grandkids.

Moeung will be greatly missed by his wife, Than, and all of his children,  Sombath, Kimmean(Sunny), Sarath, Irene(Chan), Samantha(Vorn), Sareth(Rinnie), David, Lina(Kim), Vuthy, Grandkids, great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Moeung had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. Moeung was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered for the many lives he touched—especially his humor, as everyone in the room lit up due to his witty grandpa jokes.

Moeung was a giving, caring and selfless soul. He shared his passion for his craft through mentoring others and would do anything for anyone. Intelligent and a perfectionist, almost to a fault, Moeung was very precise and would describe himself as occasionally "stubborn."

His humor consists of silly grandpa jokes, but everyone in the room lit up from his witty lines.

His legacy will continue forever, reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held on April 14th, 2023, from 4-6 pm.
