Morrison Fain Tracy

May 9, 1931 — January 18, 2020

Morrison Fain Tracy, lovingly known as Tracy to many, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 18, 2020 at West Chester Hospital at the age of 88. He was born Saturday, May 9, 1931 in Norwood, Ohio to Leavle and Golden (nee Colley) Tracy.

Starting out as a Shipping Clerk at Westinghouse Electric Supply Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tracy enlisted in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Serving almost 4 years, he was honorably discharged as Radioman 3rd Class. His love of the United States never wavered as he was an active member of VFW and the American Legion Post. Tracy continued his career path in the electric supply company and with a partner, started the Warren County Electric Supply Company in April of 1977.

Alongside his wife, Janet, Tracy enjoyed entertaining family and clients at their home. The picturesque setting provided for years of pig roasts, weekly gatherings and even weddings all of which were filled with hours of storytelling and laughter. The guests could count on the "Morrison Shuffle" to occur in the early evening hours with no warning at all.

Community involvement was important to Tracy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and later became a member of the Shriners. Tracy enjoyed being outdoors and looked forward to being on the golf course as often as he could. He will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Tracy was preceded in death by: parents, Leavle and Golden Tracy; wife, Janet E. (nee Koller) Tracy; siblings, Betty Jean Caselli, Gordon "Dub" Tracy, Wade Tracy and Nancy Bowen; and his beloved dog, Charley.

Tracy is survived by: children, Christy (Rick) Bugert, Morrison Fain "Fuzzy" (Mary Jo) Tracy, Jr., Wendy (Dale) Hupke and Eric (Denise) Tracy; grandchildren, Molly (Matt) McConnell, Emmy (Tyler) Bogue, Morrison Fain "Mo" (Devyn) Tracy, III, Thomas Tracy, David "Jake" (Brianna) Tracy, Hannah (Tyler) Abbatiello, Dale Hupke, Jr., Jackie (Jared) Gross and Jesse Tracy; 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and many loving family members and friends.
