Myra Sue (nee Cox) Baker, 61 of Maineville, passed away on March 5, 2022, with her family by her side. Born on January 9, 1961 in Cincinnati, raised and loved by her father Harold and mother Carolyn (nee Tucker) Cox.
In Myra’s eyes, her kids and grandkids were her life. She was a devoted and loving grandmother and knew how to make each grandchild feel special, especially around every holiday. She spent time with them roasting marshmallows, watching movies, and camping out in the backyard.
Myra had a passion for interior design, gardening and shopping. She was creative and gifted in home decorating. Myra enjoyed spending time outdoors and grooming her flower beds. Gardening was truly her "happy place".
Myra was a loving wife and a strong woman with a kind and caring heart. She was passionate, sweet and could make a friend anywhere she went. She will be missed.
Preceded in death by her father, Harold Cox, her sister, Pauline Smith and her parents in law, Arthur, and Loretta Casada.
Myra is survived by her husband of 40 years, Anthony Baker, mother, Carolyn Cox, three children, Timothy (Jacquelyn) Knox, Amanda (Scott) Stiles and Adrian (Emad) Abusway, five grandchildren, Bailey, Paige, Michael, Khloe, and Maren, four siblings, Harry Smith, Malcom Smith, Robert (Jackie) Cox and Lisa (Jake) Cunningham and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10 from 5:00-7:00PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11 th at 11:00AM also at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Myra’s name to The James Cancer Institute c/o Lung Research.
