Nicholas Helton

Nicholas Levi Ryan Helton, 34 of Hamilton, passed away on September 11, 2023. Born to Gerald H. and Wendy G. (nee Curtis) Helton on February 25, 1989, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Nicky was a graduate of Lakota East High School and the University of Cincinnati where he earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He was a HUGE New York Giants football fan and would debate back and forth on how much better of a team they were than yours.

He had a heart of gold. He was an excellent father and he enjoyed being a father.  Family was very important to him, so he always took time to spend with his parents and playing Madden with his nephews.

Nicky played football, baseball and wrestled throughout his life and along the way met lifelong friends and dedicated coaches.

Nicky provided help to thousands of people, including children, with his generous gifts so that he may continue with the hopes another family will not suffer.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent, and Reba Vaught, and Leonard and Joyce Clark, aunt, Sandra Osborn, uncles, Joe Vitali and William Helton, and cousins, Jennifer Osborn, Josh Creech, and Destiny Helton.

Nicky is survived by his loving parents, Jerry and Wendy Helton, his children, Skyler, Dominic and Jaxson Helton, siblings, Jerry (Tiffany Stinson) Helton, Matt (Katya) Helton, Tiffani Helton, Daniel Helton, and Kristy Osborn, grandma, Donna and Steven Hadley, nieces and nephews, Kailey, Kaleb, Kaiden, Kameron, Natalia, Clarissa, Sylas and one more on the way. Nick is also survived by his aunt, Lesley Curtis, uncle, Tracy Helton, cousins, Alezander Bennet, Alex Bennet, Scott Helton and Ashley Helton and the mother of his children, Katherine Hacker.

Nicky leaves behind lifelong friends, coworkers who have become family, coaches, and teammates.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24th from 1:00-5:00pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 25th at 11:00am also at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Morrow Cemetery.
