Norine E. Kreps

Norine E. Kreps (nee Claus), 89, beloved wife of Gene Kreps for more than 65 years, loving mother of Elizabeth (Jim) Lightfield, cherished grandmother of Chris (Bethany)  Lightfield, Justin Lightfield, Bryan Lightfield, and Stephen Lightfield, and great-grandmother of Luca Lightfield, and special cousin, Natalie Taylor, passed away on August 14, 2020.

Norine truly loved caring for her family and others, and made that passion a career. Norine graduated from Toledo Hospital School of Nursing, as a Registered Nurse, in 1953. Prior to graduation, she did her final training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital working with polio patients. After graduation, Norine  worked at doctors offices and Toledo Hospital. In her retirement, she found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandson.

Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 on SUNDAY, September 13, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until the time of Service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio 43560 on TUESDAY September 15th at 1:00 PM. (Due to COVID 19,  MASKS will be required at the visitation, service and burial. Social distancing will be observed at all locations.)

Memorial Donations in Norine's honor may be directed to Grace Chapel Church, 406 4th Ave, Mason, Ohio 45040 or to the donor's favorite charity.
