Olaf H. Faulkner, Jr.

Olaf H. Faulkner, Jr., 65 of Mason, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020. Olaf was born in Philadelphia, PA to Olaf, Sr. and Thelma Faulkner.

Olaf was the beloved husband of Debra C. (nee Cooper), devoted father of Jason N. (Theresa) Faulkner, Jeremy W. (Kristina) Faulkner, Joshua H. Faulkner, Jordan A. (Julie) Faulkner and Jeffrey A. Faulkner, loving grandpa of Vivian, Santino, Isabella, Mia, Gabriel, Auviana, Brady, Josie and Elaina, brother of Albert (Teresa) Faulkner, son-in-law of Ronald G. and Nellie V. Cooper and brother-in-law of Danette (Pete) Murphy, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Olaf was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed hosting family and friends with backyard barbecues around the swimming pool, and in earlier years would include a basketball game on the home court. He and Deb enjoyed traveling and vacationing with family in Florida and years prior at Dale Hollow Lake.  His hobbies included riding his Harley motorcycle, golf and bowling.  Olaf was an accomplished HVAC professional, also skilled in carpentry, plumbing and electrical, which he applied to many home improvement and renovation projects. He retired 5 years ago from Mason City Schools where he worked as the lead HVAC technician, the same district where his mother had worked as a school teacher.

Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home at 6791 Tylersville Road on Friday May 8, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday May 9th at 10:00 AM for immediate family.  Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Restrictive guidelines will be observing "SAFE DISTANCING", limited to 50 people at one time in the funeral home and attendees are strongly encouraged to bring a mask for safety.
