Olive Lanee Stamps

Olive Stamps, 91, of West Chester, Ohio went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 3, 2024.  She was born on June 27, 1932 in Waltz, KY.  Olive was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Boyd; her children Debbie (Bill) Jones, Susan (Terry) Scott, Jeff (Nancy) Stamps; brothers Don (Brenda) Fogleman, Jess (Mary) Fogleman, Barry (Helen) Fogleman; sister Linda Holsinger; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and her sweet poodle, Katie.  Olive was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Chuck Cooper; sisters Thelma (Leo) Rossman, Betty Lou Fogleman, Ruby Pauline Fogleman; brothers Leslie Smith Fogleman, Daniel Pearl Fogleman and brother-in-law Bob Holsinger.  Olive formerly lived in New Lebanon, Ohio and worked in catalog sales at Sears Salem Mall for 20 years.  She was a Sunday School teacher for teenagers at New Lebanon Brethren Church for many years.  When Olive and Boyd moved to West Chester, they joined Pisgah Heights Baptist Church (now Liberty Heights) and she started another career in real estate.  Olive was a Realtor with Century 21 and then Comey & Shepherd until she retired at 71.  She was very successful and earned many real estate awards including the “Million Dollar Club”.  Many of her clients became lifelong friends.  Olive enjoyed outdoor activities- camping, boating, waterskiing- but mostly spending time with her family.  She will be missed greatly until we meet again in the arms of God.  A visitation will take place at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd Mason, Ohio 45069 on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 9:30am-10:30am with a funeral service to follow at 10:30am.  Burial will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Heartland Hospice of Cincinnati , Meals on Wheels of SW Ohio & Northern KY or Alzheimer's Association .  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.muellerfunerals.com
