Patricia E. Gleeson

Patricia (Tricia) Ellen Gleeson (nee DiLeva), of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the age of 75.

Tricia was born Wednesday, March 12, 1947 in Schenectady, New York to Patsy and Charlotte (nee Black) DiLeva. Tricia attended college at Michigan State University and served her country in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, she attended nursing school at Ellis Hospital, where she met her husband, the love of her life, John Gleeson.

Tricia and her family enjoyed many adventures living around the world, including Saudi Arabia, and eventually settling in West Chester, Ohio to be with her children and grandchildren.

In recent years, Tricia was a Director of Nursing at various local nursing homes, and a hospice nurse. After those roles, Tricia continued her passion for healthcare, by passing on her knowledge through education. She became a teacher and inspired young minds in the healthcare field.

Tricia was preceded in death by: parents, Patsy and Charlotte DiLeva; and loving husband, John Gleeson.

Tricia is survived by: children, Michelle (Hank) Morgan and John (Amy) Gleeson; grandchildren, Tyler (Sabrina) Morgan, Caity Morgan, Matt Morgan, and Kristin (Theo) Auguste; great-grandchild Brayden Auguste; siblings, Terry (Stu Kaplan) DiLeva, Patrick (Debbie Hawes) DiLeva, and Kelly DiLeva and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM until time of Prayer Service at 6:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
