Patricia Ann Spencer

Patricia Ann (nee Stanze) Spencer, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 24, 2023 at the age of 72.  She was born June 14, 1951 in Jamestown, Kentucky. With an outgoing personality, Patty never met a stranger.  She treated people fairly earning the respect of the inmates at Lebanon Correctional Institution.  While there, Patty began feeding and caring for the feral cats.  This love carried over to her home where she made sure the outside cats were also fed and neutered.  After 30+ years of service, Patty retired from LCI where she was known as "Lulu".  For a lady that hated nicknames, she carried a couple, with "Pug" being often used by her sister.  In her retirement, Patty kept her mind active with word search puzzles and her heart happy with visits to Walmart.  Patty will be forever loved and cherished by all that knew her. Patty was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Benjamin Stanze; mother, Mary Telsie (nee Johnson) Morgan and fiancé, Rick Meadows. Patty is survived by daughter, Lynn Irvine; grandson, Chadric Irvine; sister, Vickie (Mike) Gullett; niece, Shannon Cartwright; and many loving family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to ASPCA
