Patricia 'Pat' A. Woods

Patricia "Pat" Woods (nee Piercey) of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born Saturday, February 27, 1932 to Clarence and Esther (nee Strouse) Piercey.

Born in Pride, Kentucky, Pat was proud of her heritage. She loved to cook and bake when family and friends were visiting having the ability to whip up a full meal in a matter of minutes. Pat was talented with needle and thread, creating fantastic clothing pieces for her niece and Barbie clothing. With a passion to read, it is safe to say that Pat has read more books than most households. She even kept a journal of what she had read so she didn't read the same book twice! Often using reclaimed wallpaper, Pat could create masterpieces while wrapping gifts. Many times, the wrapping was almost too beautiful to disturb for the present inside. Pat will forever be remembered for her love and generosity.

Pat was preceded in death by: parents, Clarence and Esther Piercey; husband, Charles Clayton Woods; son, Richard Clayton Woods, and a brother, Reid Piercey.

Pat is survived by: son, Christopher Woods; daughter-in-law, Andrea Lasley; grandson, Jonathan Woods; sister, Eva Porter; one niece and several nephews.

Graveside Service will be Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Road. Cincinnati, Ohio 45241.
