Patty S. Pergram

Patty S. Pergram (nee Wheeler), of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the age of 70.  She was born Friday, June 6, 1952 in West Liberty, Kentucky to Envy and Virgie (nee Smith) Wheeler.

With a green thumb, Patty loved to garden.  Her front yard would be full of beautiful colors and delightful fragrances while the back yard contained vegetables that would provide for her family year-round.  Patty loved her dogs giving them attention and cuddles most humans would be jealous of.  She was devoted to her family which extended into her work family at Gold Star in the Towne Mall and then at Engle's Corner.  Patty will be forever loved and cherished by all that knew her.

Patty was preceded in death by: daughter, Krystal Manning; parents, Envy and Virgie Wheeler; husband, Jeffrey Pergram; and siblings, Lavada Wheeler, Bronson Wheeler, Larry Wheeler, and Paul Wheeler.

Patty is survived by: children, Kristina (Chris) O'Leary, Glenn (Melissa) Hamilton, Kim Smith, and Missy Hamilton; son-in-law, Jeff Manning; step-children, Cindy (Mike) Marshall, Debbie (John) Boles, and Johnna (Dave) Carpenter; grandchildren, Kevin (Kristina) Caudill, Lexus (Jesse) Carroll, Kaleb (Liz) Hamilton, Savanah (Curtis) Zinck, Krystalynn (Daniel) Luke, Ryan (Jessica) Morris, Katie Morris, James (Allison) Hamilton, Alexis Cantrell, Cassie (Malachi) Cantrell, Joseph Hamilton, Wesley Shope, Thomas Shope, Amber Ascencio, Jonathan Kendall, Tabitha Ferguson, Brittany Carpenter, Brandon Carpenter, Amanda Boyd, Joey Boyd, Amber Hutchinson, Laykin Smith, and Christopher Smith; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Martha (JR) Blankenship, Pam (Rick) Helton, Dennis Wheeler, Raymond Wheeler, Lindon (Rissie) Wheeler, Ottis Wheeler; 1st husband and friend, John Kahne; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon with Pastor David Zornes officiating at Mueller Hicks Funeral Home & Crematory, 6780 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, Ohio 45005.  Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
