Patty ( Patricia) Ann Yankosky (nee Jump), of West Chester, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the age of 72. She was born Thursday, June 2, 1949 in Fayette County, Kentucky.
Married to the love of her life, Kit, for 49 years, Patty (Babe/ Babydoll /Mom/Mimi) will always be remembered for lighting up the room with her beautiful smile, contagious laughter and her bright eyes. She loved her three girls and seven grandkids with her whole heart and instilled in them a grit and resilience that will carry them through whatever life brings. Patty loved having fun, hanging out with friends (including her best friends that have been by her side since elementary school), reading her latest bookclub book, relaxing and having a beer on the back porch, sitting in the sun, exercising and living life with an energy unmatched by most. Not only was Patty striking in her beauty, the most striking thing about her was how much she loved Kit and their girls and her intestinal fortitude to get through anything. She never missed a soccer game, a softball game, a game or competition Molly was cheering in, a track meet Amanda was in, a dance recital, a performance, a gymnastic meet, a ceremony or a school f unction for one of her girls; never. More than anything, Patty was a constant in our lives. From partying the night away with Kit, to their bowling league with the Buckley’s, to card nights that went late into the night, to trips with Vickie and Jessie and Kathy and her close highschool friends, to hanging at Surf Cincinnati with her girls during the summer, to keeping a tidy house, always ready for visitors, to enjoying so many Red’s games, rotating with Kathy each inning so they could each be on the Jumbo Tron , to weekends with Uncle Bobby on his boat, to late night Christmases with the Jump family, to hosting countless slumber parties for her girls, to having the most fun house on the street, to dancing with her grandkids in the kitchen, to showing her dau ghter’s how to take care of their new babies, to shopping with Natalie, to leading an active life, she gave her everything to everyone around her, leaving a legacy of fun, love and beauty. Words fail us when we try to describe how much Patty is loved and c herished by those that knew her. She was a special lady, an awesome mom and an incredible partner.
