Paul Drake, of Mason, Ohio, passed away after a long battle with cancer on October 21, 2019 at the young age of 58. Born on Monday, December 12, 1960 in Jacksonville, Illinois, he was the oldest of his siblings.
Young and in love, Paul married his best-friend, Susan Wanders, on October 16, 1983. Together, they built a life-time of memories as they welcomed three children into their hearts. Their home was filled with constant laughter, teasing and unconditional love.
Seven-Time MSBL Champion, Paul was an avid sports-fan with a love of golf as well. His 6'5" frame would immediately gain attention as he entered a room. An extrovert that always had a joke ready to share, it was easy for Paul to meet new people and quickly create a friendship.
Here is the starting lineup for Paul's family: his wife of 36 years, Susan Drake; devoted children, Daniel Drake, Samantha Drake and Shannon Drake (fiancé, Adam Doty); parents, Barbara Drake and the late Jack LeeMaster; brothers, Jim Drake, Scott (Jennifer) Drake and Gary (Jennifer) Drake; and a team of loving family members and friends he loved dearly.

In Paul's spirit of helping others, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
