Paul Sharp

Paul Jason Sharp, 47 of West Chester, died on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Born to Terence and Ratchanee (nee Sangchai) Sharp on September 9, 1973 in Korat, Thailand, where his father was stationed at the US Air Force base. Paul was proud of his Thai heritage, his Thai family, and loved his mother's traditional Thai cooking. He was also proud to be an American. He was a patriotic person, always honored and memorialized veterans and was thankful to all those who have served this country.

Paul had a passion for military and commercial airplanes. He collected them with his father and enjoyed attending airshows and visiting museums. He had the itch to travel often, but some of his favorite trips were with his parents and daughter in Asian countries and uncles, camping and fishing in beautiful Oregon and trips to the beach with his family.

An avid golfer, especially on Sundays with his Dad and buddies. He also spent may days watching his daughter play sports, she was the light of his life. Paul was an excellent husband, a devoted father and son and was the kind of friend you had for years. He stayed in close contact with all his high school friends. He will be missed!

Preceded in death by his English grandparents, David and Iris Horsburgh, Thai grandma, Maream and his father-in-law, Robert Oswald.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Chonda (nee Oswald) Sharp, daughter, Samantha Sharp, parents, Terence and Ratchanee "Tuey" Sharp, mother-in-law, Youlonda Oswald, stepdaughter, Qwen Sophia Oaks, and four Thai siblings.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5th from 10:00-12noon with a funeral service at 12noon all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. All are welcome back to Terry and Tuey's home at 430pm on Saturday evening to continue to share memories of Paul.

Memorial donations may be made in Paul's name to the Disabled American Veterans.
