Perry L. Dearman, age 89, of Mason, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at West Chester Hospital. He was born Saturday, June 14, 1930 in Spencer, West Virginia to Lewis and Dorothy (nee Lawrence) Dearman.
A veteran of the United States Army, Perry served during the Korean War. With a mind engineered for mechanics, Perry could fix anything. During his career, he was responsible for the logistics of moving an entire paper factory from Sharonville to Centerville.
With a passion for the outdoors, Perry enjoyed fishing and camping. He spent a lot of time on Lake Cumberland, but also enjoyed traveling the US and Canada. Perry’s joking nature and quit wit will always be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
Perry was preceded in death by: parents, Lewis and Dorothy Dearman; and siblings, Janice, Donald, Orvie, Macy and Rebecca.
Perry is survived by: wife, Rosemary (nee Schwarz) Dearman; children, Clara Dearman, Carl Dearman and Kevin (Ruby) Dearman; grandchildren, Joshua (Emily) Dearman and Leeann Dearman; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Bryce and Kyleigh; and brother, Byron Dearman.
Services will be held privately for the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
