Price DeWitt Carter , long time resident of Anderson Township, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the age of 91. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on May 21, 1928.

DeWitt was a veteran of the United States Army, a graduate of Rutgers University, and had a career in manufacturing and product development at Proctor and Gamble in Staten Island, New York and later in Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida with his wife Marie, playing golf, gardening, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He was also an active member and usher at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marie (nee Danielson); his daughter, Susan Hoffman; brother, Nick Carter; granddaughter, Catherine (Mike) Schmidt; grandson, John Hoffman; great grandchildren: Ryan, Addison, and Hannah Schmidt.

He was proceeded in death by his son, Scott Carter; brother, James Carter; sister, Patricia Grygotis; and son-in-law, Warren Hoffman.

DeWitt was someone special to all that knew him and will always be missed.

Due to the current restrictions, the family will be scheduling a memorial service at Saint Timothy's Episcopal Church in Anderson Township at a later date.
