Ralph J. 'Pete' Elfers, 74, of Springboro, beloved husband of Jane Elfers (nee Gingerich); loving father of Amy (Jason) Gerardi and Adam Elfers; adoring grandfather of Trent and Grace Gerardi; and brother of Sherry (John) McCurley and Greg (Peg) Elfers, passed away at home Friday evening, August 23, 2019.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph 'Whitey' Elfers, Sr and Eleanor 'Ellie' Elfers-Unger.
Pete was a graduate of Mason High School, obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of Cincinnati, and Masters degree from Miami University. He was well-known for being multifaceted and excelling at anything he put his mind to. Following a successful sales career with both pianos and Yellow Pages respectively, he decided to embark on a new adventure establishing multiple Medical Massage Therapy Schools throughout Ohio and Kentucky. His mission was to provide his students with the tools they needed to create their own path within the Medical Massage field.
Pete was known for his many passions, including golfing, fishing, and music. Those who knew him well know of his natural piano ability, playing most songs by ear. He traveled the nation to play the world's best golf courses, always stopping to take photos of the beautiful scenery. On his frequent trips to Florida visiting his two grandchildren, he spent most of his days bass fishing in the lake with his grandson, Trent.
Pete paved his own path and always lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who love him.
Visitation will be held at Mason Christian Village Chapel, 411 Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be directed to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
