Randall Reigelsperger

Randall “Randy” Lee Reigelsperger, of Middletown, OH, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the age of 68. Randy was born on October 2, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio as the second eldest child to the late Robert and Joyce Reigelsperger. He was a graduate of Wayne High School in 1972.

Staying true to his love of music that had been nourished by a family band as part of his upbringing, Randy went on to become a very popular and accomplished drummer throughout the Midwest. He worked as a drummer in bands such as Goin Home, Squeez, Sunrise, Rockin Horse, Relay, Savage Grace, The Take, Unbound, Watts Next and Stone Mountain Mafia, as well as touched numerous other lives with his immense talent.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lori Reigelsperger; parents, Robert and Joyce Reigelsperger; and stepfather William Bair.

He is survived by his daughters, Talia (Brian) West and Taryn Degenhardt; son, Cory Reigelsperger; and his grandchildren, Wyatt, Jesse, Reece, and Daniel; his brothers, Terry (Joan) Reigelsperger and Curt (Marsha) Reigelsperger; sisters, Becky (Mike) Wheeler and Bobbie (Mark) Springer.

Private services are being held by the family. A tribute is to be held in his honor at Froggy’s located at 10 American Way, Monroe, OH 45050, on September 24, 2023  at 1pm and is open to all of Randy’s friends and family who would like to celebrate him and his love for music and people.
