Raymond C. Blatt

Raymond C Blatt, affectionately known as Ray, passed away December 6,2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 75. He was born on May 13, 1949 in Lakewood, Ohio.

Ray spent years as an electrical engineer at Rockwell International. Following his technical career, he transitioned into product knowledge, sharing his extensive knowledge with others. He also served as an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, where he inspired and educated future generations.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ray was a proud US Navy veteran, embodying a spirit of service that extended beyond his military duties. His calm temperament and cordial nature made him well liked by many.

An avid sports enthusiast, Ray had a lifelong passion for baseball and football supporting his favorite teams including the forever Indians, Reds, Packers and Browns. He cherished time spent attending Nascar events especially Talladega with his Nascar buddies.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne (nee Mathias) Blatt of 49 years; his son, Daniel Blatt; and his daughter Kristina Blatt. He is further mourned by his brother-in-law, Duane (Sandy) Mathias; sisters-in-law, Audrey (Byron) Winner, Karen Mathias and Sue Mathias; as well as several nieces and nephews. Rays beloved furry companions Muggsie and Tigger will miss his attention.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert T Blatt; mother, Marguerite (nee Hineman) Blatt; brothers-in-law, Lee Mathias, Dean Mathias; and nephew, Kevin Winner.

Visitation for Raymond C Blatt will be held on December 11,2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by a funeral at 1:00 at Mueller Funeral Home located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040. Private interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery at 2:00 on that same day.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Matthew 25 Ministries 11060 Kenwood Rd Blue Ash, Ohio 45242. Raymond Blatt will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the countless lives he touched through both is work and personal interactions.
