US ARMY RESERVE

Raymond W. LaRue, 86, of West Chester, OH and formerly of Lewiston, Maine passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. Ray was born in Lewiston to Adelard and Leonie LaRue.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Rita Lessard and Fernande LaRue and brothers Roger and Donald LaRue.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen (nee Poisson) of 63 years, daughters, Sheila Libby and Carol (David) Damon and son, James (Karen) LaRue, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ian (Louisa) Libby, Amy (Robert) McLeod, Jamison (Victoria) Tupikow and Colin LaRue and great-grandson, William McLeod, also survived by many nieces, nephew and cousins.

Ray was a great husband and father. He was a quiet and gentle man. He was a man that like to tinker around the house doing home improvement projects. He loved to grow vegetables in his garden, explore new gadgets and watch western movies and relax in front of the TV.

Memorial Mass will be at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Masks are required and social distancing observed. The mass will be live streamed on the church's website.
