Renee Jones

Renee S. Jones passed away on November 15, 2024, at age 48, after a 6-year hard fought battle with breast cancer. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, Renee remained a source of strength, beacon of hope, and inspiration to all who knew her. 

Renee was the beloved wife of Chad Jones; Daughter of Virginia St. Arnold; Cherished sister of Tom (Marla) St. Arnold, Jaymi St. Arnold, Micheal (Diane) St. Arnold, Richard St. Arnold, and Diann St. Arnold; Adored Aunt of Amanda, Breana, Samantha, Braden and Dylan; Great Aunt of Blake, Jordyn, Tucker, and Sage. She is preceded in death by her father Thomas F. St. Arnold. 

Born January 11, 1976, to Thomas and Virginia St. Arnold of Cincinnati, Ohio. Renee graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1994, attended the University of Cincinnati, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Harvard University in 2023. Renee’s studies focused on sustainability in the built environment.

Renee met her “sweetheart”, Chad Jones, in 1993 in Cincinnati, at the age of 17. After several years of friendship, Chad moved to Atlanta, GA, Renee and Chad became a couple, and Renee moved to Atlanta shortly after. Renee and Chad were best friends and devoted life partners for 29-years, and husband and wife for 21-years. 

Professionally, Renee followed a career in learning and development. In her personal time Renee enjoyed traveling, personal growth and development, practicing and educating others on green and healthy living, and enriching the lives of everyone around her. Renee lived her life with passion, spoke her truth, put others first, and loved her family and friends deeply. 

Renee touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Her light and memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May Renee rest in eternal peace and be remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of others.

 A private celebration of life with family and close friends will be held to honor Renee. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Radiant Healing Together (RHT). RHT is a non-profit support group providing community and resources to women diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
