Richard Blake Daus , 80 of Maineville passed away on April 13, 2024. Born to Dr Milton J. and Kate B. (nee Blake) Daus on May 20, 1943, in Apalachicola, Florida.
Richard worked in law enforcement for over 50 years, serving many of those years as a Sheriff.
A dedicated soul, with a servant’s heart. Richard was funny and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He took his son to the Indy 500 and found great pleasure in watching the races.
Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Milton and Kate Daus and his son, Vitaley Jigailov-Daus.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Ilona (Sergey) Popov, grandchildren, Adelina, Matrey and Timofey Popov, sister, Carol, and niece, Tiffany Long.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 2:00pm at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246.
