Richard Henry Fox

Richard (Dick) Henry Fox, Sr., of Liberty Twp., passed away peacefully Monday, August 31, 2020 at the age of 87. He was born Thursday, July 27, 1933 in Hamilton, Ohio to Howard H. and Mary E. (nee Schlabach) Fox.

Saturday, November 1, 1958, Dick married his life-long sweetheart, Kathryn (Kay) E. Erbeck. Who would have guessed that a blind date would lead to 61 years of marriage filled with loving family and memories? As their children became adults, the traveling adventures began. Imagine the excitement on the Alaskan boat as Dick reeled in a 350 pound halibut. There are not many people who can say they have traveled to all seven continents alongside their best friend.

With all the excitement and adventure in his life, Dick's true treasures were his grandchildren. He will be forever remembered with love by all who knew him.

Dick was preceded in death by: parents, Howard and Mary Fox; and son-in-law, Scott Paul.

Dick is survived by: wife, Kathryn E. Fox; children, Richard H. Fox, Jr., Douglas E. Fox, Sandra K (Douglas E.) Isaacs, and Diane Paul; grandchildren, Emily Fox, Nathan Fox, Evan Fox, Cole Isaacs, Jared Isaacs, Elizabeth Paul, and Jessica Paul; and other loving family members and friends.

Dick's family will honor his life with a Visitation on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM; Military Honors presented from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM; with the Funeral Service beginning at 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Face Masks/Coverings will be REQUIRED.  Due to Social Distancing, seating will be limited for the service.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, September 12 at 11:30 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, OH 45040.
